I love this place. With its structure and its staff I have been able to for the first time in my life get sober for 45days I’m only half way through or so and it feels great. They have a beautifully structured program and with staff that understands addictions and truly speaks to me each day and gives me something to take with me in my heart. They teach you how to get sober and that there is a different solution to your life rather than drugs and alcohol. All my therapist and case manager work with me on a consistent basis to ensure my needs are met and they also have great meals here as well. They teach the values of networking and staying connected with other sober people and AA and NA I’ve been able to find a wonderful sponsor to work me through the steps and it’s an ongoing process that I love and am grateful for every day. If you feel hopeless and lost and like you know it’s time for you to turn your life around or that something has to change then try out Desert hope for sure and make sure you just take all the suggestions they give you, pay attention to what they say and teach you and listen to the message they bring to you and you will be able to get sober and maintain your sobriety for sure. You can’t walk to paths at once and your new life will cost you your old one, so if you know it’s about that time then just surrender commit and get with it. Everyone here and in your family and your loved ones will be so beyond proud of you and in this program you don’t just get out of it what you put in you’ll actually get so much more. Don’t give up before God shows up and don’t not show up if the whole God thing scares you or your mad at God or whatever the case may be, just give this a chance and you’ll see the miracles and changes come into your life. From getting your kids back if you’ve lost them, to getting a place you can call your own, a new and better job, anything you’ve lost in this cruel world recovery and the fellowship and this program will let you have the opportunity to get all of it back I promise you.
