Reviews and Testimonials

Oxford Treatment Center - Inpatient

This was my second time at Oxford treatment center. The quiet and serene placement of the facility does a lot for anyone dealing with severe anxiety like myself. The staff is awesome, very knowledgeable and caring but also Veryrelatable. The campus is beautiful and anyone who likes horses and walking out in the woods during Hank’s 12 step walk will love it. Bring a fishing pole too because there’s some big ones in the lake. Although the groups are intense and there isn’t really any time to think about anything but your recovery, the therapist, case managers, and TA’s make it an enjoyable experience. I loved that there was a gym To work out in after groups were done. And also a pavilion on the lake to hang out and just chill out at night. I also loved my horse ride through the trails with Marty. Being a Veteran I also have to say they went out of their way to accommodate me anytime I had an appointment at the VA or I needed anything done when it came to anything to do with the Veterans Administration. I even met Colonel Mack, the best VSO you could ever want to guide you through the sometimes very confusing aspects of a disability claim. He is here for anyone that is a Veteran and is attending Oxford treatment center and he will help you out immensely. The cabins are sweet, the rooms are very big and there’s always a van running if you don’t wanna walk across the lake. And the food ain’t half bad either. You can definitely get fat while you’re here that’s for sure. Through my recovery, an injury that I sustained, and my dealings with the VA, I could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone was super Nice and was always eager to help. Thank you to Ms Jewell, Ms Tiffany, Barry, Hank , Summer(Tyme), Ralph, And to all the other people there that helped and saw me through my time there. Sorry for anybody I forgot. This is a great place if you need help with your addiction no matter what that addiction may be. They will teach you the skills and tools to be successful in this Journey that we’re all on. It’s not easy but nothing worth having is easy. Thanks again to everybody at American Addiction Center and Oxford Treatment Center.

I just finished up going here. I came from Georgia and I needed something new and I needed a chance to get and stay clean for me and my baby. I'm 6 months pregnant and struggled with addiction and needed to get far away from the toxic environment I was in. Oxford was a breath of fresh air! The food was incredible!!! Every day something new and exciting and every breakfast including biscuits and gravy, grits, oatmeal, a fruit bar... The list goes on and on. The kitchen staff was incredible and so welcoming and gracious. Hank taught us such a straight forward approach but he was so relatable. Buffy was the best at consoling you when you had the bad days . Every staff member treated me like family. They loved me like my family never has, and invested in my future and gave me such solid advice and support. The nurses were incredible and attentive and went the extra mile when I needed help. The drivers who took me to my doctor's apts, especially Ms. Shay, really touched my heart and was so sweet and kind to me and made every drive a fun heartfelt adventure. Keisha and Nadia lead my process group and they dragged things out of me I didn't even know I buried deep down. Keisha lead a trauma for her group and she showed me how to take the little girl who was wounded so long ago with me and how to bring her back to the surface. Ralfs story touched my heart and made everyone there cry and hold his hand through his pain. The h&I program that came to do N.A. shared their hearts and stories and made me feel at home. Barry didn't take any nonsense, but also made us laugh so hard when we needed it and sprinkled in truth. And the awards ceremonies made us all feel so good. We all felt connected, I found my family there and I'm forever grateful for all the love and support. A million stars!

Oxford treatment center Goes above and beyond for their patience. My counselor, Nadia, was absolutely the best. She genuinely gave a damn and wanted to help me with my issues to stop using. The staff is professional and helpful. And just the fact that they knew my name without having to ask me Twenty times is really heartfelt. I want to thank them all for all. They have done for me and my loved ones. It's because this journey has really changed my perspective On my life and how to handle things and I want to thank them and let each of them know that for the rest of my life they will have a place in my heart. Thank you!!
