VA Community Care Partner
Oxford Treatment Center is a VA Community Care Partner, meaning that we work 1-on-1 with veterans assigned by the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Local VA to provide the most effective and customized treatment possible to those who serve (or served) our country. The benefit here is that we work closely with the VA as a referral partner and can get you the treatment you need when you need it.
Tour & Family Visits
Contact us to schedule a tour of the facility. Oxford Treatment Center allows visitation from 1-4pm every Sunday. Family therapy programs are also available and must be approved by the patient’s counselor.
Quality & Accreditation
CARF-Accredited Service Provider
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) is an independent, nonprofit accreditor in the health and human services field. An on-site survey determines if a location is up to the CARF standard—and Oxford is.
But the accreditation doesn’t stop there. Because it’s an ongoing process, accredited facilities need to continuously improve. This lets the public know we’re committed to enhancing our performance in this space.
Partner with the Mississippi State Department of Health
Health-related organizations that affect public health are licensed—as are their practitioners—by the Mississippi State Department of Health. Oxford Treatment Centers is proud to partner with this state department as a licensed facility in the state.
Member of National Association for Behavioral Healthcare
The National Association for Behavioral Healthcare (NABH) has been a leader in this industry for over 85 years. The organization, like Oxford Treatment Center, is “committed to the delivery of responsive, accountable, and clinically effective prevention, treatment and care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with mental and substance use disorders.”
This alignment of mission and values is why we became a member of NABH.
The Joint Commission
Our Behavioral Health Care accreditation from The Joint Commission means our Oxford Treatment facilities meet the “highest national standards for safety and quality of care”. Their Gold Seal of Approval is a visible demonstration of our commitment to safe, high-quality care to our patients and their families.
