Cost & Insurance Coverage
The cost of rehab may change based on a variety of factors. These may include:
- Level of Care Needed
- Length of Stay
- Insurance Benefits
Our admissions advisors are available 24/7 to hear your story and help you find the best treatment for you or your loved one’s situation. If you would like to verify your insurance instantly, fill in our form below. Many of our treatment centers work with the VA as part of the Community Care Network and may accept TriCare or other Veteran specific insurances as well.
VA Community Care Partner
Recovery First Treatment Center is a VA Community Care Partner, meaning that we work 1-on-1 with veterans assigned by the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Local VA to provide the most effective and customized treatment possible to those who serve (or served) our country. The benefit here is that we work closely with the VA as a referral partner and can get you the treatment you need when you need it.
Tour & Family Visits
Contact us to schedule a tour of the facility. Families are encouraged to visit loved ones during the family weekend program. Our family program weekend is a 2-day event where your family members can talk with your therapists and work on healing your relationship. Your family members will also learn more about substance abuse and addiction, as well as ways to support your recovery.
Quality & Accreditation
When an organization has an accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), it’s a demonstration of “accountability and conformance to internationally accepted standards that promote excellence in your services.”
Recovery First’s three facilities in Florida meet CARF’s standards and have proven our commitment to being among the best available options for addiction treatment.
Joint Commission Accredited
The Behavioral Health Care Accreditation from The Joint Commission demonstrates to those we serve, as well as their families, our staff, and the community our “organization’s ongoing commitment to safe, high quality care, treatment [and] services.”
Our parent company, American Addiction Centers, has several facilities around the U.S. accredited by The Joint Commission. This Gold Seal of Approval is incredibly meaningful to Recovery First and validates our promise to continually improving patient care.
National Association for Behavioral Healthcare (NABH) Member
Just like Recovery First, the National Association for Behavioral Healthcare “advocates for behavioral healthcare and represents provider systems that are committed to the delivery of responsive, accountable, and clinically effective prevention, treatment and care” for people with mental health and substance use disorders.
By being a member of the NABH, Recovery First and its parent company American Addiction Centers demonstrates our dedication to excellence and quality patient care.
Licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Family Services
American Addiction Centers and all of its facilities understand that choosing a treatment facility for addiction is a difficult task and that you have a lot of options. Florida’s Department of Children and Family makes sure that when you’re making that difficult choice, the facility you chose provides the quality care you’re looking for.
As a facility licensed through the Florida Department of Children and Family, Recovery First meets the state’s requirements for health and human services related to addiction care.

When You’re Here
Once you arrive at the airport, one of our behavioral health technicians in our in-house transportation department will meet you and help you every step of the way. You will arrive at the facility, contact your family to let them know you have arrived safely, tour the facility, and fill out paperwork. During this process, you will meet many people that will help you on your journey to recovery. A number of assessments will be given to determine your personal needs and the course of your treatment.
Patients are provided 3 meals daily and special accommodations for those with dietary restrictions.
Patients occupy a 2-story apartment-like complex with 9 apartments each with shared bedrooms. Each apartment is equipped with its own kitchen, including 2 BBQ pits in the courtyard area. Facility staff is available on-site 24/7. Those in residential treatment get weekly stipends on their Publix card so they can go grocery shopping as they are working on integrating back into society and building life skills. Additionally, all rooms have a TV and are fully furnished.
During free times, there are opportunities to participate in holistic treatments such as Yoga and exercise. Those that are interested in faith based recovery can also attend Church on Sundays.
Because connectivity is so important, patients may bring and use their electronic devices at Recovery First Treatment Center during free hours. We provide free Wi-Fi to all patients and guests.
Smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas. Call the treatment center to learn more.
