Verify Your Insurance Coverage for Rehab

Insurance may be able to cover all or part of the cost of treatment. Let us take the confusion and work out of determining your insurance coverage. We have years of experience working with some of the largest insurance providers and a number of our facilities accept TRICARE or work with the VA directly. Once you fill in the form, our admissions navigator will be in contact with you to listen to your story, determine your options, and see if you’re covered. We can communicate with your insurance provider for you and all communication is strictly confidential. See if you’re covered below. For Veterans, type in “Veteran” or “TRICARE”.

Multi-Location Treatment

We also have outpatient and sober living arrangements in certain locations. Learn more below.

FAQs About Rehab Treatment

How Long Does Rehab Last?

Depending on the level of care needed, rehab can last anywhere from a week to a few months. Patients may start with medically supervised detox (~7 days) to overcome the symptoms of withdrawal. From there, patients may want to enter a live-in inpatient program to receive additional monitoring, therapies, and learn long-term strategies for dealing with addiction. Inpatient programs range from 30 days to 90 days and more.

How Much Does Rehab Cost?

The cost of rehab varies depending on the level of care needed, the length of stay, your insurance coverage, and more. In many instances, insurance may be able to cover all or at least part of the cost of rehab. Many rehabs also accept private pay, can help you with financing, or payment plans as well. The cost of treatment should not deter you from finding potentially life-saving treatment for you or a loved one.

Should I Travel for Rehab?

Though it may be enticing to stay close to home for rehab, there are also benefits to traveling a little farther to receive the quality treatment you need. The benefit of going farther away for rehab is that you remove yourself from toxic, enabling, and triggering environments and people that may compel you to use. This will allow you to focus on your treatment, away from distractions. Additionally, insurance may also play a factor in which rehab you may attend as not all facilities may be able to take your insurance. American Addiction Centers can help you confirm your insurance coverage at our facilities, create a travel plan, and help you get to any of our rehab centers across the United States.

How Do I Choose the Best Rehab for Me?

The best rehab program for you will depend on your situation. Things to look out for when choosing a rehab program are:

  • Whether the rehab center is accredited and the staff is licensed, certified, and qualified to treat addiction.
  • Whether the rehab center offers multiple levels of treatment to meet your needs. This may include detox, inpatient, residential, outpatient rehab, and more.
  • Whether insurance may be able to cover the cost of rehab.
  • Whether there are specialized treatment programs to meet your needs. Specifically programs for Veterans as well as treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
  • Whether the rehab uses evidence based treatment.
  • Whether the rehab center offers 24/7 monitoring where needed.

Do I Have To Be a Veteran to Attend Treatment?

You do not need to be a Veteran to attend treatment at any of our rehab facilities.
