I decided to go to an Addiction Recovery Facility after 50 years of Active Addiction. This was a huge step for me!! I made the call, originally, to contact the AAC in Grand Prairie for geographical reasons and found out that particular location was out of network with my insurance. I spoke with a 24 hour representative named Gene who recommended Etta, MS, AAC. After describing the facility, as far as surroundings, we immediately began the entry process. I was going to rehab after 50 years of self abuse.I was excited and apprehensive at the same time. Upon arrival at the facility, my eyes and my heart were filled with Awe!!!! This beautiful facility, engulfed with spectacularly stunning views of nature, would be my Healing Space for the next few weeks.There are Geese and Ducks as well as a furry friend who Loved belly rubs 🥰 What has transpired over these past few weeks is nothing short of a Miracle. This facility’s dedicated staff is warm, nonjudgmental and welcoming. I discovered that this team of qualified professionals are PASSIONATE about sharing their unique specialties to guide me on my path to sobriety. The groups are very engaging and supportive towards my recovery goals . Participation has been highly encouraged!!! Being surrounded by peers and staff, equally invested in my recovery work, has been key to my growth and recovery success. I am scheduled to return back into the World this upcoming week and am looking forward to creating a Sober Life with my Loved Ones. I am overwhelming Grateful to all of the amazing staff who have chosen to support and guide me through this challenging journey and who have given me skills to ensure a better life for myself and my family. I couldn't tell you enough good things about this rehab facility. From staff, to courses, to environment. Hands down the best rehab experience to be had. Let's start with staff. Probably the best hands down. They absolutely ball know your name from the moment you enter detox. They are friendly, helpful, always there to assist and make sure you have what you need and are comfortable during your sta the at oxford. You never feel like you are doing this journey alone and they aren't a nagging presence and create pressure. Instead they are like family there to guide you and assist you in any manner you need .. courses and therapy sessions.... They offers so much insight into your addiction. It's very personalized. The way the groups and courses are set up it is specific to your problem areas and it explains how to better your problem areas. I didn't know how my using effected me so deeply until I ran through the courses . It's amazing the stuff you will uncover through the courses . Some are extremally calming some are there to pull your roots out from under you and bring out those emotions so be prepared to experience the truth. Don't be scared. It's only your reality presenting itself. It's a freeing feeling. And they are experts at doing it. It's amazing. Now environment. This is a great one. The facility itself is a gem. I mean 110 acres of land absolutely stunning. Between the cabins and the lake , fire places at the pavilions , the freedom to walk between the facilities and cabins as you please, the ability to make friends with whom ever you want play cards after classes, play basket ball, go to the gym horse back ride , fish ect ect... I mean a stunning stunning place. You are able to have you cell phone with you 24-7 after detox btw. They give you plenty of freedoms. If you play a guitar you can bring it. So if that tells you anything. Everything is super clean and maintained. Like I said I can go on for days. You WILL NOT REGRET COMING HERE!! CHOICE NUMBER ONE IS OXFORD. I hope I never come back to rehab but if I ever did this is the place I am coming to . And if ever I have someone in need I am sending them here. Guy and girls if you have an addiction this is the go to place.. I'm not blowing smoke.. I am a addict and this is a true review . From the heart. This is the place you want to go to. It's changing my life as we speak day 18 sober here..

Staff was great and it was an overall amazing experience

As soon as I got there i felt at home..The grounds are beautiful filled with nature, birds and ducks as they made their home on the beautiful lake, This facility in Etta saved my life and the staff was very nice and helpful with anything. If you or you know someone seeking a wonderful place to recover i highly recommend this facility hand down. The cabins are beautiful also. Please if you want to get on the right road to recovery please let this be the first place you check out…
